  •  February 1996 - Zhongyi was established as a Partnership Law Firm.
  •  March 1996 - Zhong Fang Shanghai Real Estate Development Co. and Hai Tong Securities Co., Ltd were the first Clients of Zhongyi.
  •  January 1997 - Zhongyi began to provide free legal consulting service for residents of Kang Jian Residential Quarters.
  •  March 1997 - In order to enlarge the firm, Zhongyi hired several young lawyers with top academic achievements.
  •  April 1998 - Zhongyi made a successful Trustee Transfer of a baseball/softball stadium, the first such case in China.
  •  May 1998 - Zhongyi was invited by Shanghai East Radio Station to be Guest of Honor in the program “Real Estate at 2:30”.
  •  September 1998 - Managing Director of Zhongyi, Attorney Wang Xiaomi, joined the Southwest Society of Law in the US.
  •  December 1998 - Zhongyi was awarded “Model Unit of Excellent Female in Pudong New Area” by Pudong Working Committee on Children and Women.
  •  January 1999 - Zhongyi was invited by Shanghai East Radio Station to be Guest of Honor in the program “Asian Barristers”
  •  December 1999 - Attorney Lin Mao was dispatched by Zhongyi to pursue Master’s degree at the University of Technology, Sydney (Australia).
  •  December 1999 - Zhongyi was named “Civilized Law Firm” by the Shanghai Justice Bureau of Pudong New Area.
  •  May 2000 - Zhongyi was engaged to be long-term legal counsel of Shanghai COSCO Liang Wan Real Estate Development Co. Ltd. - the first project of COSRED.
  •  April 2001- Zhongyi set up a new office in Zhang Jiang Hi-Tech Park.
  •  September 2001 - Attorney Zhang Bin and Attorney Kong Xiang Jun were dispatched respectively to the University of Manchester and University of Aberdeen to
    pursue Master’s and Doctor’s degrees.
  •  September 2001 - Zhongyi organized its professionals into two groups, a Real Estate and Construction Department and a Corporation Law Department.
  •  October 2001 - Zhongyi was engaged to be long-term Legal Counsel of the Shanghai Chain Store Association.
  •  November 2001 - For the first time Zhongyi attended the 4th Annual Franchise China Conference & Exhibition, which was sponsored by China Chain Store and Franchise Association (CCFA) and Global Source. Zhongyi’s Managing Director was invited to be on a panel of speakers from Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai.
  •  December 2001 - Zhongyi was the only law firm appointed to attend “Shanghai Xuhui Real Estate Exhibition and Trade” in Hong Kong, which was sponsored by the Shanghai Housing and Land Resources Administration and the Shanghai Municipality of Xuhui District.
  •  December 2001 - Wang Xiaomi, Managing Director of Zhongyi, was especially invited to be Guest of Honor in the program “Famous Lawyers Sit in Court”, which was hosted by the “Asian Legislation” website.
  • January 2002 - Zhongyi moved to a new office location in Shanghai Pudong New Area.
  • January 2002 - In response to Shanghai Hope-Project Office, Zhongyi aided local students who needed financial support.
  • June 2002 - Zhongyi was Editor in Chief of “Material Collection of Chain Store Business Franchises”, which was organized by Shanghai Chain Store Association.
  • June 2002 - Zhongyi was invited to attend The 4th Annual China Franchise Convention which was sponsored by China Chain Store and Franchise Association (CCFA). The Managing Director of Zhongyi was invited to speak on a law forum panel.
  • August 2002 - Zhongyi became long-term Legal Counsel of Shanghai Lianyang Real Estate Co. Ltd, providing comprehensive legal service.
  • September 2002 - Zhongyi was invited to attend the 4th Shanghai International Chain & Franchise Business Opportunity Exhibition, which was sponsored by Shanghai Commercial Association and Shanghai Chain Store & Franchise Association.
  • September 2002 - Attorney Li Ying was dispatched to the University of Manchester in UK to pursue a Master’s degree.
  • September 2002 - A Marketing Department was set up in Zhongyi in order to provide more professional and efficient service.
  • December 2002 - Zhongyi was invited to attend the 5th Annual Franchise China Conference & Exhibition, sponsored by China Chain Store and Franchise Association (CCFA) and Global Source. The Managing Director of Zhongyi was invited be a panel speaker about legal developments in Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai.
